WARMING HOUSE IMPROVEMENTS:
• New Exterior Doors (4) Installed
• Chimney Tuckpointing
• Roof Shingles Replaced
• Painted Bathrooms & Kitchen Area
• Industrial Floor Cleaning & painting
• Electrical Upgrade throughout the Building
(WE energies Grant – $3,500 paid for part of this upgrade)
• Leaf Guard Rain Gutters
• Longaberger Wrought Iron Hooks Installed

GARDENS:
Gardens – Created & maintained a perennial garden on the east side of the Warming House.
Purchased and planted daffodils & 2,000 scilla bulbs along Mill Road & in 
front of Warming House.

Parkway Gardens – Created & maintained gardens at the base of (5) Oak Creek Parkway signs.
Planted 150 scilla bulbs.

LANDSCAPING & OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS:
Capstone Removal & Landscaping including repair and extension of the split rail fence above the Mill Pond dam.

Removal of plants & debris on terrace steps.

Installed trash receptacles & signs prohibiting public waterfowl feeding to help promote a cleaner area
and elevate community awareness.

Willow tree removal from either side of dam which was undermining the structure.

Decorated Mill Pond Warming House & surrounding area – 2003 through 2013 Christmas season.

Participated in all Oak Creek Watercourse clean-up programs – April 2004 through 2013.

Worked with South Milwaukee Historical Society to have the Mill Pond dam
proclaimed a structure of historical significance by Milwaukee County.

Collaborated with Milwaukee County Parks to replace entire Mill Pond Warming House roof.
